The project involved the transformation of a listed building on the shores of Lake Zurich into a world-class, 5-star, hotel. Formatio was tasked with the provision of all interior joinery according to ambitious and masterful designs imagined by the interior architects.
The unique design approach is evident in the furniture’s framework and slat construction, showcasing both innovation and elegance. A distinctive folding technique was ingeniously developed for leather-covered fronts, ensuring a flawless finish of the highest quality.
Realisation required innovative manufacturing techniques allowing the quality materials to speak for themselves. We engineered high-quality framed doors, beds, and dressing tables, of which many elements required upholstery.
Our expert team of upholsterers used precise folding techniques to achieve the leather-covered fronts and a nuanced palette of colours according to the designer’s intent.
Each bespoke piece of furniture bears the hallmark of playful details and an unparalleled standard of finish.
